ABGL “demands” before extending support for Darjeeling LS Polls

The ABGL today ruled out fielding its own candidate for the Darjeeling seat but said it would place a number of demands before the BJP and the Congress and then take a decision on April 10 on extending support to any of the two parties.

Both the national outfits have fielded their candidates for the Darjeeling seat. The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha, which has not fielded its own candidate, has agreed to support the BJP’s Jaswant Singh. MORE...
