GJMM campaign to rope Adivasi leaders from the country

The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha has launched a campaign to rope in Adivasi leaders from across the country to convince the tribal community in the Dooars and the Terai of the Gorkhaland demand.

A five-member Morcha delegation comprising party general secretary Roshan Giri, and leaders like Harka Bahadur Chhetri today met Bandi Oraon, a founder member of the Akhil Bharatiya Adivasi Vikas Parisad, in Ranchi and extracted support for the Gorkhaland movement.

The delegation that had reached Ranchi yesterday also met Ram Dayal Munda, a former vice-chancellor of Ranchi University, and sought his co-operation for the movement. MORE...
