Forest fires in East and West Sikkim have burnt to death four cows and razed a house.
In the past few days, there have been 12 fires in different parts of the state, including areas surrounding Gangtok, because of the continuous dry spell.
The fire in East district’s Gangyap has killed the cows. The blaze had spread from a house and spread into forest land, police said.
