Siliguri, Sept. 16: The Shoppers Stop Sananda Pujo Bazar today fired up the festive mood as models sashayed the ramps in the latest haute couture that the store has on offer.
Sananda from the ABP Group, which also brings out The Telegraph, is the event co-ordinator for the festival that was inaugurated by actress Chaiti Ghoshal at the Shoppers Stop outlet at City Centre here today. The festival will continue till October 2.
“It is a privilege for me to inaugurate the Shoppers Stop Pujor Bazar here.
I am a regular customer at the outlets of the store and I am very fond of their clothes, accessories and beauty and cosmetics products. Now that there is an outlet here, people will have a very good shopping experience,” Chaiti said.
The outlet was opened in Siliguri in March this year. “We organise such festivals at the outlets in Calcutta every year. But this is the first time we are holding it in Siliguri. We hope the customers find a delightful shopping experience at our store,” said Naveen Mishra, customer care associate & area controller (East) of Shoppers Stop.
Along with the fun activities like makeover sessions, customers have a chance to win trips to Pattaya and Kerala through lucky draws.
“Customers who make purchases of Rs 3000 and above will get lucky coupons. The lucky draw will be held in Calcutta on October 12. The mega-prize is a trip to Pattaya in Bangkok. The first prize is a trip to Kerala and others prizes include LCD TV, cell phones etc,” Mishra added.
The inauguration of the festival was followed by a fashion show in three sequences showcasing the Utsav collection, an assortment of traditional wear available under brands like Stop, Kashish and Haute Curry.
Tomorrow, the store will showcase its autumn/winter western collection of its brands Stop, Eliza, Donatein, iJeanswear, Intense, Austin Reed and Life.
