The situation in the Dooars turned volatile again on Monday, after GJM leader Roshan Giri was chased out of Ethelbari in the evening.
Late on Monday, the homes of some Nepali-speaking persons were set ablaze at Nagrakata’s Dayna tea estate. Unconfirmed sources said there were reports of gunshots being fired.
