“The news of me absconding is totally false and misleading. We even went to attend the meeting summoned by the share holders,” said Mr Rai.

The share holders from Rabong, South Sikkim had come up earlier complaining against the company in failing to refund the money even after the maturity date. The share holders too complained through the Media earlier against the managing director and his associates when they failed to attend the meeting called up by the share holders.

As per the shareholders, the company had collected a sum of Rs 1 crore and 30 lakhs from the share holders.

Accepting the fact that the company has delayed in paying back the money with interest, Mr Rai clarified that the investment of the company was more than projected which resulted in minor problems. “But the problem will be sorted out soon,” he added. He also informed that seventy five percent of the people have got their money back and that the remaining twenty five percent will be disbursed very soon.
